The Panorama Trail: From Üetliberg to Felsenegg

If you want to get to the top of Üetliberg, this is best done by train. Comfortably, and running according to a scheduled timetable, the Üetlibergbahn railway takes summiteers to Zurich's 871 metre high local mountain. The high-level hike that follows is equally suited for families. And on Felsenegg the gondola lift waits to take you down to Adliswil, where the S-Bahn runs back to Zurich.

The Way of St. James: Schwarzenburg-Fribourg

This pilgrimage does not always have to lead to Santiago de Compostela - an impressive section of the Way of St. James is the ViaJacobi, a five hour walk from Schwarzenburg to Fribourg. This stretch is considered the most exciting part of the Way of St. James in Switzerland and has been used by the Jakobspilger - the St. James pilgrims - since the Middle Ages.
