Lake Lugano is at the southernmost tip of the Tessin, the holiday region south of the ridge of the Alps, and it reaches its arms out into Italy. Thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate, there are even citrus fruit trees growing here, and visitors can sunbathe under palm trees.

The flotilla on Lake Lucerne consists of five nostalgic lake steamers and 15 elegant salon motor boats. Together, these twenty boats ply the lake on various routes that add up to 38 kilometers.
Brienz is located in the middle of charming mountains at the eastern end of turquoise-coloured Lake Brienz. The cosy village is starting point for excursions to the Bernese Oberland, the Ballenberg Open-air Museum but also to Lucerne or Interlaken or across the nearby Alpine passes.
The park is located in the cantons of Fribourg and Vaud, between the shores of Lake Geneva, La Gruyère and Pays d'Enhaut. Alpine dairy farming and agriculture are among its typical features.
