Pass Lunghin

On the Lunghin Pass, there is a quite remarkable feature to be seen: Europe’s only three-way water divide is situated at precisely the pass height.

Marbachegg – unexpected views

The Schrattenfluh to the north, in canton Lucerne, although seemingly a part of the Emment Valley. And Marbachegg – part of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch.

Engstligenalp – and the Wildstrubel

The Engstligen Alp at Adelboden is a plateau with an abundance of water and a long Alpine tradition, at the foot of the striking Wildstrubel. The streams that arise here all flow to one point and fall thunderously as the Engstligen Falls 600 meters into the valley, across a rock face.

Those who look towards Wildstrubel from Adelboden know little of the peaceful Alp that lies almost hidden at half-height in the valley basin. The entrance leads past the 600 meter-high Engstligenfälle.
