The bridge trail

The hiking network of the century is coming alive around Lake Thun. Gently embedded in the landscape and integrated into the existing 56-kilometer-long Panorama Trail Lake Thun, two suspension bridges open up totally new hiking perspectives.

Rochers-de-Naye – high above the lake

The prominent rocks of Rochers-de-Naye above Montreux constitute one of the most beautiful vantage points in the region. At 2,045 meters above sea level the view sweeps across Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. Or into the burrows of marmots.

The rocks (les rochers) – towering 2042 meters above the town, are as much a part of Montreux as the Chillon Castle. Already back in 1892 the first small steam train made its way up to Rochers de Naye from Glion.
