Bettmeralp: Alongside the Aletsch Glacier, which with a length of 23km is the longest ice flow of the Alps, the path takes you from the Bettmerhorn to the Märjelensee (Lake Märjelen).
The Grimsel area is a landscape of ancient stone and primeval forces. This pass has always been used to cross from North to South or vice-versa. It also constitutes the watershed between the North Sea and the Mediterranean and offers some spectacular hikes, ranging from easy strolls to challenging climbs on the vertical granite walls.
This hike through exquisite, charming countryside is at its best during the height of the grape harvest at Murtensee (Lake Murten), at the end of September / beginning of October.
The majestic Männlichen is located at1000m above Wengen and almost 1300m above Grindelwald Grund, proposing beautiful views as vantage point over the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Grindelwald.
