Arlenwald Hotel Arosa

It's only a short distance to the ski lift, and the toboggan run also starts just around the corner.

The hotel's brand-new photovoltaic plant and solar cells now draw energy from Arosa's sunshine. Looking out over a splendid panorama, the hotel's comfortable rooms and suites are furnished with choice antiques, as befits an establishment dating back over 100 years. The centrepiece of the hotel is the "Burestübli" restaurant with traditional cuisine and an old tiled stove. Cheese fondue and raclette are among the highlights. The sauna affords far-reaching views through its huge windows or from its open-air balcony.

Ritterhaus Chasa de Capol

A 500-year-old Knight's Hall with a thousand-year-old wine cellar, this used to be the Probstei (Provost church) of the neighbouring monastery of St Johann, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This hotel is situated at the end of an historic mule track, which is the Ofen Pass road today. After it had stood empty for more than 100 years, the Schweizer family took it over in 1954 and today the second generation of Schweizers runs this hotel. Accompanying authentic food and drink is their home-made South Tyrolean wine. A theatre and the stylish Davidoff Lounge round off the offerings.

Hotel Alte Herberge Weiss Kreuz

1000-year old culture and modern architecture exist side by side in the historic Säumerherberge, on the Cultural Trail the "Via Spluga". Awarded in 2002 for its gentle, historically authentic renovations.

The Hotel Alte Herberge Weiss Kreuz was opened in 2000 as a culture and adventure hotel. It is located in the centre of the village on the Cultural Trail "Via Spluga", and has 16 rooms, with a total of 34 beds, in a legendary historic setting. The wines in the restaurant with its regional cuisine are mainly from the Bündner Herrschaft and Italy.
