Hans Hensler (1910-2004) was a Schaffhausen original, and as a gardener and collector also well-known abroad. His life work, a garden of a special kind, composed of more than 200 interesting plants, numerous historical cultural goods and rarities related to the history of Schaffhausen, as well as a small museum with a collection of historical gardening tools. The richly structured enthusiast’s and collector’s garden is not dedicated to any one certain style; it is much more the expression of Hans Hensler’s own personal creative design.
