Grimsel Hospiz - Historisches Alpinhotel

This inn, on the Piedmont-Burgundy trade route, was mentioned in documents as early as 1142. Built in 1932 between two dam walls after the old hospice had been flooded, this was the first electrically heated hotel in Europe. Horgen Glarus furniture from the 30's.

The centuries-old Grimsel Hospice is located in the midst of a bleak and rocky landscape, on the turquoise waters of an artificial lake. After comprehensive renovations, the former defiant miners' abode was transformed into an extremely elegant hotel - a place made for aesthetes and lovers of nature. Boasts a panoramic lounge, a fireplace lounge, bar, restaurant, seductive wine cellar and cosy rooms that include every comfort.

Grand Hôtel & Kurhaus

Built in 1896, the hotel is nestled harmoniously in a wild and romantic valley. It has always been a place of culture - Josephine Baker performed here in 1968 on Christmas Eve.

2,100 meters above sea level, this wellness hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful stone pine forest and surrounded by a large park. Dating back to the year 1896, the building exudes the comfort and durability of a mountain hotel. The colourful history of this hotel, shaped for four generations by the same family, is evident everywhere. Many of the 65 rooms offer an incomparable view of the nearby mountain peaks. The unique, quiet location guarantees pure relaxation.
