Sustainability – Montreux Music & Convention Centre: Member of the organisations "Tourism for Development", "Green Globe" and "United Nations Global Compact”.
  • Economic Cooling System: Cooling through means of a pumping station that pumps water in and out from the lake (energy saving of about 700,000 kWh per year / cost saving of almost 35%).
  • Rational use of energy: Energy-saving light bulbs. Infrared tracking system to cut down the electricity consumption when the Montreux Music & Convention Centre is not in use
  • Prevention of pollution and control of waste hazards: 130 tons of waste is sorted and recycled each year. The aim is a "Zero Waste" campaign (where all waste is recycled).
