The view from the Blausee to the nearby Valais four-thousand-metre peaks (Weisshorn, Matterhorn and Dom) is breathtaking! Lake Blausee lies at an altitude of 2207m and its water can heat up to 20 degrees. Visitors find Barbecue facilities close by and can enjoy free access to the lake shore. Access from Riederalp by the Riederalp-Moosfluh cableway, then by foot to the Blausee. (15 min.).

Access: by train or car to Mörel and then by cableway to Riederalp.
