Die Engadiner mochten selbst an einer Hochzeit nicht auf ihre traditionelle Spezialität „Bündner Gerstensuppe“ verzichten. Sie veredelten die Suppe und liessen die Gerste weg. Geboren war die Engadiner Hochzeitssuppe, die übrigens auch als Flan herrlich schmeckt.
