The Museum of Psychiatry is located in the late-Baroque Pfründerhaus" in the grounds of the Waldau Clinic. The permanent exhibition on Bernese psychiatry before and after the construction of the Waldau" documents the subject from the late Middle Ages through the Reformation and the construction of the Madhouse, and from the foundation of the Waldau Institution for the care and treatment of the insane to the present-day modern university clinic. www.puk.unibe.ch/culture.html
