Mili Weber herself was a very simple and modest person and the life she lead at the edge of the fashionable health resort of St. Moritz was quiet and modest accordingly.
The house, a block construction with a Valais-style brick base, was built almost completely by her father and her brother Emil. It is located at the edge of the wood on the Dimlejstrasse just above the eastern end of Lake St. Moritz and is almost completely obscured by fir trees, larches and mountain ashes. The paintings with which Mili transformed her walls and ceilings into a fairy-tale world are absolutely beautiful.

tessin My family visited the museum many years ago when my husband worked in Italia...We live in U.S.A. Dame Marcella Meir took us on the tour and allowed us to video the insde of the cottage. We often watch the video and appreciate the increable art work...We also had the pleasure of looking through the books she wrote and illustrated.... Our family is grown up now but we are planning to return as a family to enjoy her talent .....How wonderfully peaceful the world is from her eyes no wars... no prejudice....just love ..
