Guests can consider themselves front-row-center at the Hotel Bristol: Directly at the ski slopes, close to mountain rail, ski fun and children’s park in winter - and a dreamlike world of glaciers and mountains in the summer. The comfortable, quiet rooms with balcony and the spacious family apartment all offer unobstructed views to the south. Besides its exceptional location and friendly atmosphere, the "Bristol" also prides itself in an excellent restaurant with fresh and tasty home-style cooking.
This luxury resort comprising 7 lodge-style chalets is situated above the village at the end of the ski run and hiking paths, with a vista of the Matterhorn. Ideal for "ski in & metro out". The hotel concept met with success and 37 rooms were added in 2013. Each chalet has its own wellness area with sauna, sanarium, experience showers, relaxation room, massage room and open fireplace. The main chalet houses the bar and lounge, restaurant and sun terrace. The "CERVO" restaurant has earned 14 Gault Millau points.
Newly constructed in 1999, the hotel is ideally situated on a plateau at 1860 metres a.s.l. amidst a pristine landscape. The generously-sized twin rooms have been lovingly furnished with stone pine furniture and have a terrace that offers up spectacular views. Predominantly Graubünden specialities prepared using regional products are served in the restaurant and the 'Arven lounge'. The hotel is readily accessible by private car, post bus and – especially romantically – by horse-drawn carriage.
The centuries-old Grimsel Hospice is located in the midst of a bleak and rocky landscape, on the turquoise waters of an artificial lake. After comprehensive renovations, the former defiant miners' abode was transformed into an extremely elegant hotel - a place made for aesthetes and lovers of nature. Boasts a panoramic lounge, a fireplace lounge, bar, restaurant, seductive wine cellar and cosy rooms that include every comfort.
