Weisshorn – mountain and valley views

The Weisshorn is at 2,653 meters Arosa’s tallest mountain. A cable car takes you from the village via the 2,013-meter mid-station to the attractive viewing point on the summit.

The highest mountain in the Arosa region, accessible by cable car, offers impressive views over Chur as well as the Alps of Graubünden as far as Piz Bernina looking south.

Madrisa – adventure for children

The Madrisa Train operators call the mountain station “Entrance to the Alpine Park Landscape”. And they are quite justified in doing so, for there are innumerable natural and cultural phenomena in a tiny space at the border between Graubünden and Vorarlberg.

Dwarfs, alpine ghosts and root characters are key figures on the Klosters family mountain. Gondola-style rail runs from the village to the forest border of the Saas Alp.

Railways of the Jungfrau Region

The Jungfraubahn is a cogwheel train that takes visitors from the Kleine Scheidegg mountain through the Eiger and Mönch up to the Jungfraujoch. It traverses a distance of about 9 kilometers and an elevation of almost 1400 meters. Of the distance travelled, a little over 7 kilometers are through tunnels.
