The starting point of the hike is the village square of Triesenberg, where the Walser Museum is located. One can use baby carriages on the 6.3 km long hiking path to Masescha. Good shoes are required for the challenging three hour hike. From the bus station of Rizlina one can comfortably return back to the center of the village by bus.

During the educational hike, families take in the magnificent view of the Rhine valley and surrounding mountains, while playgrounds and barbecue stations invite them to relax and enjoy themselves. The theme trail narrates the story of the Walser community of Triesenberg at the trail’s stations and on information panels.
