Centre Dürrenmatt
Overview
Intro
The Dürrenmatt Centre created by Mario Botta offers an exhibition environment which borrows both from literature and from the fine arts.
All kinds of contemporary concerts, conferences and talks also contribute to the lively atmosphere of the place, where Dürrenmatt's spirit is never far away.
Although Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1912-1990) was a famous writer and dramatist, he was also a passionate painter throughout his life. The Dürrenmatt Centre is tasked with the mission of making his artwork and thought accessible to all.
