Intro

Wellness in Switzerland’s largest thermal baths. The varied experiences on offer at Therme Zurzach invite visitors to take a moment and relax.

The history of Bad Zurzach as a spa resort began in 1914, when hot spring water was discovered by chance while drilling for salt. This has been bubbling up to the surface from a depth of around 400 metres since 1955.

Today, Therme Zurzach is one of the largest thermal spa resorts in Switzerland. The soothing warmth and precious minerals from the rocks of the Zurzach sodium sulphate spring have a relaxing and vitalising effect.

This varied spa landscape is the perfect place to leave your day-to-day life behind you. In the outdoor area, you can enjoy the wonderfully warm thermal water in four pools even in the depths of winter. Head to the unheated natural swimming pool in the spa’s gardens to cool off. In the evening, underwater lights create a special ambience in the wellness pool. Choose between four pools in the indoor area of the spa for a diverse experience. These include the intensive brine bath that promises deep relaxation thanks to the high salt content, cave-like ambience and underwater music.

Therapeutic bathing can be supplemented with the stimulating effect of heat from the “textile” saunas, in which bathing suits can be worn, and the crystal steam bath. The relaxing and rejuvenating experiences are rounded off by indoor and outdoor zones for relaxation and lounging, surrounded by beautiful parkland, a restaurant and two bars.

In the exclusive, textile-free bore rig sauna landscape – which is based on the history of salt drilling in Bad Zurzach – several saunas, steam baths and a cold water pool as well as an elegant bar and lounge area provide an unforgettable boost to wellbeing.

Younger guests will enjoy the indoor Papa Moll children’s paddling pool and the water playground outside.
