The Lungern-Schönbüel area, with its fantastic views, is the starting point for many mountain walks and bike tours. The most well-known is the walk from the top station of the cable-car on Schönbüel to the Brienzer Rothorn (or vice versa). Every Sunday there is a brunch and a yodelling service on Schönbüel to strengthen body and soul for the climb.
