Description

The hiking loop starts at the Col du Marchairuz and leads in 45 minutes past eight informational markers and two vantage points. On the 1.8 kilometer trail hikers get acquainted with many of the nature park’s (Parc Jura vaudois) secrets. The trail is named after Siméon Meylan, who once rested under a large silver fir tree before crossing the Marchairuz. The trail is accessible from spring to autumn.

The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
