The Zermatt Bergbahnen AG take the visitors comfortably from the village of Zermatt to the highest mountain station in Europe. After an impressive ride with the Matterhorn Express – gondola without change to the station Trockener Steg – continue with the remarkable cable car to Matterhorn glacier paradise. With only three masts and a distance of almost three kilometres without support, the 100-person cable car glides directly to the summit wall.
The highlights of the Peak Matterhorn glacier paradise are the following: Cinema Lounge with exciting film scenes, an observation deck with 360-degrees panoramic views, a glacier palace with sculptures and an ice chute, a restaurant with Peak Shop and accommodations for mountaineers with minergie-P standard.
