Stans - Büren - Gibel - Niederrickenbach - Büren - Stans

From the Stans Railroad Station the route first runs along the hiking trail in the direction of Dallenwil. In Büren you will ride across the Aa. Then follows the panoramic ascent to Gibel. Every so often magnificent views open up to the Engelberg Valley. From Gibel a trail that is rather narrow in some sections runs to Niederrickenbach. A wide country road at first continues in the direction of the valley before it changes over at kilometer 15 to the other side of the valley. On an asphalt trail you will now schuss down into the valley. A flat single track along Engelberg's Aa takes you back to Stans.

The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
