Regional specialities

Bündner Nusstorte *

This round, flat tart made from shortcrust pastry has a delicious caramelised walnut filling. There's no better way to indulge your sweet tooth than with a slice of Bündner Nusstorte - in fact, it's a must!

Münstertaler Bread *

Flat and round, the traditional white rye bread from Münstertal has a delicately spicy, nutty flavour. It comes out of the oven as two attached half loaves and pairs nicely with cured meat and cheese.

Salsiz *

Engadine is famous for its Salsiz, which is eaten pretty much everywhere and at any time of day. The air-dried beef or pork sausage tastes best with spicy bread and a glass or two of Bündner red wine.
