The fairy tale hotel Bellevue in Braunwald has four interesting animal guests. The two Llamas and two Alpacas have arrived by Braunwaldbahn (funicular), just like all other guests, and in "Le Petit Chalet" they enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Glarus Alps.

A sign “Warning: Llama Crossing” draws attention to the animals. The 25-meter-long adventure slide extends over the enclosure for the trusting animals. During the summer months the hotel organizes public Llama and Alpaca Treks during which the children are allowed to feed the animals.

But not only Llamas and Alpacas let the children get stars in their eyes. Besides rabbits, also dwarf goats found a home in the family-friendly hotel. They walk across the new “Golden Goat Bridge” and welcome visitors.
