Monsieur Alberto Tejo welcomes you into the chalet, situated 1,485 metres above sea level, and offers you the chance to try the specialty dish served there: cheese fondue. Enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain chains and lakes.

The reputation of this alpine restaurant is solid. It only takes approximately ten minutes to reach the top and admire the 360-degree view that unfolds from Suchet in the northeast to Geneva in the south, via lake Neuchatel and the Orbe valley. Nestled below, in the shelter of its own valley, is Vaulion, the village that gave its name to the peak overlooking it. From the other side, which is a sheer drop, you can look towards Vallorbe in the north.

How to get there:
By car: from the Lac de Joux, take the Mollendruz road. At Petra-Félix, turn left. A small, straight road will take you to the Dent de Vaulion restaurant. It is 10 minutes' walk from there to the top of the mountain.
On foot: leave from Vallorbe, via La Mache. You should reach the Dent de Vaulion chalet in one and a half hours.
