Siky Ranch

Siky Ranch not only houses a wide variety of animals, it also offers a number of other exciting highlights for any age. Making visitors feel welcome is an important aspect at Siky Ranch and one of the reasons why it is fully wheelchair and push chair-accessible. The 200-seat restaurant has a large terrace with a view of the zoo.

The SIKY RANCH wildlife park opened on 28 April 1972 and is the pride of the village of Crémines. It is known for its impressive demonstrations featuring birds of prey. The Siky Ranch has more than 50 different species of animals. It is located in the middle of a forest, two kilometres from the village in the direction of Balsthal. With a creek and several ponds, a visit during the summer months is a refreshing experience.

A charming mini-train is available to take visitors through the park, about 41,000 m2 in size, to admire its inhabitants, most of whom are native to Switzerland. Divided into three parts (Alps, foothills and plateau), the wildlife park not only houses local species, such as lynx, wolves, marmots and ibex, but also majestic birds of prey that are fascinating for everybody to watch. A special highlight is the breathtaking falconry show that visitors will not soon forget.

Directions:
The Siky Ranch wildlife park is located on the road between Moutier and Balsthal and can be reached from Biel in less than 30 minutes by car. The train operating on the "Moutier-Solothurn" line stops at the "Zoo" station.
