From Basweri, the ascent takes you through the shady Ried Forest to the Ross Forest. The next one-and-a-half kilometers are fairly leisurely, but the final ascent to Saflischmatte is tough going. The panorama is sensational and more than rewards you for the challenging ascent. What comes next is pure adrenalin. Thrills and hiking pleasures galore!
