The massifs that make up the region offer many different landscapes and horizons and are open to all, at any altitude. The Vaud Alps contain a particularly rich mountain landscape: there are high peaks, faults and limestone cliffs, headlands and raised hills, green valleys and invigorating mountain lakes. Explore this region with the Pedestrian guide to the Vaud Alps, which suggests 50 of the most beautiful walks around the area with descriptions, altitude details and walking times, in addition to a lot of useful tourist information. The guide doubles up as a panoramic map of the area as it shows the suggested pedestrian routes, mountain bike trails and the Via Ferrata in the area, as well as a summary of the bars, alpine cheese shops, shelters and viewpoints around the area.

The guide is available in three languages and costs CHF 24 and the map costs CHF 12.80. It is sold at the Tourist Offices in Aigle, Bex, Chateau-d'Oex, Les Diablerets, Gryon, Leysin, Les Mosses, Rougemont and Villars.
