The village of Charmey on the Jaun Pass road is known for its tasty Gruyère cheese, wellness baths and Vounetz (Vounetse) mountain adventures.

Gondola rail delivers hikers and pleasure seekers high up to the vantage point 750 meters above the village, next to the Dents Vertes. Opposite the Moléson, Intyamon Valley and Vanil Noir region in the Gruyères – Pays d'Enhaut natural park.

At the mid station a huge high ropes park awaits those thirsty for adventure – while others perhaps prefer more relaxing adventure with a visit to the wood-shingle (Bardots) roofed alpine cheese-making dairy, or stroll along the flora and fauna theme path to get to know the region better. Grass scooters and a rapid descent down the mountain is yet another option.
