On the second part of the Swiss Path you are constantly accompanied by spectacular views of Lake Uri and Central Switzerland’s Alps. The hiking trail runs at times close to the lake, at times high up above the gigantic rock faces of the axis road. Like in the first part, the route passes many historic sites of the early Swiss Confederation.

The first section of the tour from Flüelen to Brunnen runs in a constant up and down to the Tell Chapel. The route takes you through a spectacular landscape. The carillon in the Tell Chapel was renovated and is one of the largest in Switzerland. Starting at the chapel, we follow the romantic riverside trail that leads straight to Sisikon. After Sisikon begins the ascent to the Morschach Plateau. The panorama up there is simply breathtaking. It is amazing that the old Swiss Confederates evidently had little appreciation for such vistas. A beautiful forest leads from Morschach down to Brunnen, where the Swiss Path ends.
