Today the way to the Belalp is no longer on the back of a donkey instead by gondola rail and cableway from Blatten or Brig – with the Aletschbord viewing point just a walk away.

More strenuous mountain hikes lead to the Sparrhorn (3021m), the Oberaletsch hut or the 124 meter-long hanging bridge to the Aletsch forest and game trail – and interesting visits to the local dairy or Tyndall monument are open to you too.
