First mountain rail made its way up to the Gerschnialp back in 1911, followed by a cable car to the Trübsee lake in 1927 and rides all the way up to the Titlis in 1967. And who says you cant enjoy snow in summer when there’s a glacier chairlift, ice-flyer over the glacial crevices, round tours through glacial grottos and the highest lying hanging bridge and cool "Titlis Cliff Walk" up here!
Hardy hikers make their way up the main summit in just an hour, while others delight in abseiling lessons down into the glacial crevices – or perhaps a more leisurely hiking from the Trübsee lake or Joch Pass.
