In the Glacier 3000 region, the pistes and cross-country ski tracks are not only open in the winter. Thanks to the Transfleuron Glacier at the eastern flank of the Diablerets, all kinds of winter sports are possible in the middle of summer when weather conditions are good.

Dog sledding, cross-country skiing or snow hiking - in the middle of the summer. In the Glacier 3000 area between the Bernese Oberland, Vaud and the Vaudoise Alps, cross-country ski tracks, pistes and hiking paths are open in the summer when the snow and weather conditions are good. The adventurous visitor indulges in a trip on the 1000-meter-long, exceptionally attractive toboggan run and hikers enjoy the beautiful Alpine panorama on one of the various hiking routes. And even the glacier can comfortably be explored by snow bus.

One reaches Mario Botta's mountain station by modern large-capacity gondola. In the winter a total of ten facilities and 25 kilometers of pistes are at visitors' disposal. The seven-kilometer "Oldenpiste" is considered to be one of the longest and most challenging descents in the region.
