The 2014 Michelin Guide to Switzerland has been unveiled. Switzerland still has two three-star restaurants: Restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville in Crissier and Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau.

There is a new two-star restaurant, chef Nenad Mlinarevic's Restaurant focus at the Park Hotel Vitznau. This brings the two-star count up to 19 from last year's 18.

There are also 15 new one-stars this year, which bring the grand totals to two three-stars, 19 two-stars, and 89 one-stars. This year there are 94 Bib Gourmands, 12 of which are new. The press release below points out that this is the most stars Switzerland has ever had, and that with 110 stars Switzerland has seen a 30% increase in its star count over four years.
