In winter too, the Gurten is a very worthwhile excursion destination for the whole family. 1,200 metres of toboggan runs offer fantastic snow experiences.

Bern’s local mountain can be reached in comfort on the Gurtenbahn (funicular). 60 robust Davos toboggans are available for rides on the 1,200-metre-long toboggan run and offer unforgettable moments for people of all ages.

Don’t worry if your plan was to simply go for a walk and a delicious meal on the Gurten and you suddenly fancy going tobogganing – toboggans are available for hire at the summit station (864 metres altitude).
