This skiing mountain brings special joy to the hearts of freeriders and snowboarders: Only some of the pistes on the Jakobshorn are rolled by machine. Hence some of the downhill runs – such as the one into the Dischmatal valley – provide skiing fun on deep snow until well into the spring.

The piste from the Jakobshorn to Teufi in the romantic Dischmatal valley will set every freerider’s pulse racing – it leads through varied terrain where there is plenty of powder snow because of its optimal Northeast exposure throughout winter. The slope is marked and checked, but not prepared by piste vehicles. There are hourly buses back to Davos from your destination at Teufi. Should you have to wait for the bus, you are sure to enjoy a visit to the traditional Restaurant Teufi.
