Gondola rail travels from Rivera up to the Alpe Foppa at 1530-meter altitude. The telecommunications antenna stands a good 300 meters higher up - and the actual Tamaro summit is 432 meters higher. On a clear day you even catch a glimpse of the Monte Rosa massif from the summit and Lema hiking path. Hiking paths lead in all directions, including Indemini, and mountain-bikers get their kicks on the downhill stretches as well as at the bike park.

The mountain restaurant, summer toboggan run, flying fox, large children’s playground by the mountain station and the high ropes adventure park by the mid station all make Monte Tamaro what it is – namely an adventure packed mountain!
