The terraced vineyards of the Lavaux that overlook Lake Geneva and the Alps beyond have been producing wines for centuries, and are rich in history and living tradition. Over an area of 830 hectares, enterprising monks and – later – winemakers created an extraordinary landscape of great beauty.
