Over the centuries this church was reconstructed and renovated several times, but great care was taken to preserve its original look. The simple chapel located at a singularly scenic spot high above the lake has been attracting large numbers of bridal couples for many years.

Surrounded by a secluded and romantic park, the grand Meggenhorn Castle stands on a promontory above Lake Lucerne. The chapel is open to the public and has room for a maximum of 20 persons. The lovely interior is well suited to weddings. It is one of Switzerland’s most popular wedding venues.
