The Ecological Centre "UomoNatura di Acquacalda" was set up in the nineteen eighties to promote initiatives to make good use of Lucomagno's natural heritage, a fine Alpine environment in the middle of ancient mixed forests of silver firs, larches, mountain pines and cembran pines. The offer of weeks of walking without a rucksack is part of this initiative.
