Berggasthaus Sulzfluh
The mountain inn "Berggasthaus Sulzfluh" is located in the Partnun Alp hamlet, behind St. Antönien. The well-maintained rooms are inviting and conducive to relaxation and recuperation. To fall fast asleep after an adventurous day - Berggasthaus Sulzfluh makes that a special experience. Even today, partaking of a fine meal in the light of petroleum lamps, the guest can easily feel transported back to the days when smugglers roamed the Alps. You will slumber here as people did 125 years ago, far from hectic modern life, your dreams happy as they can only be in the midst of a pristine natural landscape. If you prefer a less romantic ambience, you can book a room in the modern building.
One of Berggasthaus Sulzfluh's unique attractions is the open-air whirlpool, the using wood to heat the water. And you can luxuriate in an especially comforting bath after a strenuous hike: the bath water is infused with the aromatic hay flowers that grow on St. Antönien's Alpine meadows.

"Behind the moon, to the left" - that's the advertising motto for St. Antönien. The person who came up with that phrase, the host of the mountain inn Sulzfluh, is definitely not on the moon, but very down-to-earth and has his finger on the pulse of the times. The open-air whirlpool, which is heated using wooden logs, is his most recent idea.
St. Antönien is a typical Walser settlement in a side valley of Prättigau. This is where the well-cultivated cultural landscape fashioned long ago by the Walsers is nearly in direct contact with the white rocks of the Rätikon - the Bündner Dolomites. Even the geology of St. Antönien is special - for it is here that Africa (Austroalpine Silvretta nappe or sheet) and Europe (Helvetic nappe) meet.
