UNESCO Biosphere, Entlebuch (Central Switzerland)
Barren high moors, flowery low moor bogs and a primeval moorland delight the senses! Moors - as far as the eye can see and your feet will carry you.
UNESCO Biosphere, Entlebuch (Central Switzerland)
Search for emeralds on the moor or join a caving excursion on the Schrattenfluh - sleep on a bed of straw or in a mattress dormitory - enjoy fun and games on a "Trottinerbe" (cross-country scooter) or the open-air pool. Variety and unlimited activities - you'll be able to experience all this with your class or group in the biosphere school.
Val d'Hérens (Valais)
Discover a valley surrounded by peaks and mountaintops, bounded yet seemingly infinite. Still the home of Alpine tradition, it offers a multitude of open spaces to explore, a patchwork of compact and preserved villages, a legacy of times gone by and the purity of nature. From Thyon to Nax, this tour comprises 5 stages and 6 overnight stays, with the option to extend your stay in Sion.
Val Lumnezia, Greina (Graubünden)
Arrive by public transport, ramble through and enjoy the Greinaebene, then return home or to your place of departure by public transport. The 'Alpin Bus' makes it all possible and connects the three key accesses to the Greinaebene: the Valle di Blenio, the Val Sumvitg and the Val Lumnezia.
Vallemaggia (Ticino)
What is offered here relates to the whole of the Vallemaggia, a south-facing Alpine valley that covers about a fifth of the canton of Ticino. It is a huge and varied area that extends from the bottom of the valley, unique in Switzerland for its natural unspoilt river landscape that offers many delightful spots to swim in summer, up to the high mountain summits that rise to 3000 metres above sea level.
Viamala gorge (Graubünden)
Viamala literally means "bad path" and indeed, for several centuries travellers in this area preferred not to pass through this wild gorge if at all possible. Nor were their fears unfounded, for the path was frequently washed away or buried under landslides. These days, however, the Viamala is an outdoor museum with walls made of solid rock and only the sky as a roof. It covers an area of 16 km2, yet contains no fewer than 50 different sights which between them testify to over 4000 years of history.
Wildhaus (Eastern Switzerland / Liechtenstein)
Barefoot across the high moor, a journey of discovery and treat for the senses in the forest or a walk along the nature experience trail round the Schwendi Lakes - simply pure nature in the Toggenburg!
Aletsch (Valais)
Spend the night in the palatial Villa Cassel, which brings its guests closer to the beauty of the Aletsch, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. The sights to see at Aletsch include a world-famous glacier and stone pine forests, Switzerland's oldest trees.
Vallée du Trient (Valais)
A unique way to tarry awhile. Get to know the fascinating natural world of the Valais, attain a tranquil state of mind and delve into a world without noise and stress.
Parc Jurassien Vaudois (Lake Geneva Region)
And endless hikes through the wilderness of the Jura region, where you can get to know diverse flora and geological features as well as Alpine and pasture farming.
