The Château d'Aigle, surrounded by Chablais vineyards, houses the Vine, Wine and Etiquette museums: the ideal place to preserve and exhibit almost 2,000 years of history and heritage!
The Vine and Wine Museum has 17 rooms displaying the cultural aspect of wine production in the Vaud canton, in Switzerland and in the adjoining countries. The other exhibits, including tools, winepresses, casks, stills, pewter jugs, barrels, measures, bottles, corks and corkscrews, taster cups, glasses and carafes, take visitors on the journey from the vine to the table.

Opening hours:
April to October.

How to get there:
The town of Aigle is situated at the foot of the Vaud Alps and is on the Lausanne - Sion axis, 40 km from Lausanne and 40 km from Martigny.
By car: take the A9 motorway, exit at Aigle and follow signs for "Chateau-Musées".
By train: take the Simplon line to Aigle railway station, then walk along the streets of this charming town until you reach the museum (this should take approximately 15 minutes).
