Gstaad

Gstaad is different. First of all it offers an extensive range of ski and summer mountain sports, lifestyle, great events of international importance and indeed most of the activities your heart desires.
But what really makes up the essence of Gstaad is its authenticity in the midst of a majestic untouched mountain landscape. This is shown by the village being upkept in a unique chalet - like style as well as by the fact that mountain farming and tradition are still alive.

Location:
Gstaad is located in southwestern Switzerland, on the language border to the Swiss-French region. The region is accessible by three entrances: Over Pillon Pass from the Lake Geneva region; through the Pays d'Enhaut from Gruyeres, via Zweisimmen through the Simmental from the Lake Thun region.

How to get there:
By car: from Bern via Thun - Spiez or from Geneva via Montreux
By train: ICE from Germany via Spiez, or TGV from Francevia Montreux
