The old abbey treasury houses one of the most important collections of sacred gold work in the world, including the sardonyx vase dating back to the first century B.C., the 7th century Merovingian casket, the St. Maurice reliquary and the reliquary belonging to the children of St. Sigismond (this dates back to the 12th century). The treasury contains not only historical items, but also priceless local religious and cultural relics.
