The architect Mario Botta designed the Museum Jean Tinguely. It is devoted to the life and work of this major sculptor in iron.
The permanent exhibition shows works from the artist's beginnings in the fifties - with motordriven reliefs, drawing machines and the scrap assemblages of the sixties - through the black-painted machine sculptures, to the large sculptures and pandemonic cycles of his last creative period.

The museum, designed and built by the architect Mario Botta, comprises varied spatial structures that enter into dialogue in size and mood with the various series of work.

The Museum Jean Tinguely is located in the Solitude Park immediately next to the motorway bridge Schwarzwaldbrücke at the Rhine River.

How to get there:
From the SBB train station: Tram No. 2 up to Wettsteinplatz, Change to Bus No. 31.
