Step in and look at leisure around the kitchens,
chambers and parlours of houses and
farms dating from the 14th to 19th centuries,
carefully rebuilt here true to the originals.
Typical house styles and forms of settlement
from nearly every region of Switzerland are
represented on the museum’s terrain of
660,000 square metres.
Here, you can experience the whole of Switzerland:
in an area just 1.7 km long and 500 m
across.
How to get there:
By train: from Interlaken East station to Brienzwiler, from where there is a bus service to the museum.
By car: motorway from the East exit Brienzwiler, from the West exit Brienz.
