The "sentierone" is renowned for its wild beauty and green water (which gave the valley its name), and also for the numerous witnesses to a past rich in arts and crafts. The "Ponti dei salti" in Lavertezzo, for example, originated in the Middle Ages and is one of the best places to admire the emerald green waters flowing past bizarrely shaped rocks.
A group of twenty artists have transformed this trail into an art event: their works, which are destined to remain in the natural environment, are created with the full awareness that time, climate and man can always modify their original appeareance.
