The Wassberg (a guesthouse since 1837) is situated on a high plateau with views of Lake Greifen and the Zurich Oberland. The 18 rooms furnished with many a classic item of furniture make for an interesting contrast to the rustic setting. The food served here is typically Swiss, seasonal fare, most of it organically produced and enriched with homemade condiments.

The rooms are named after the black and white photographs that hang in them, showing the region's many attractions. Guests can sleep in the Maur Golf Course or Lake Greifen room, for example. And if they want, they can immortalize themselves by adding to the story inspired by the name of their room begun by the hotelier himself.
