In the Lake Geneva Region, everything revolves around nature – and everyone benefits. Amidst the year-round snows on Glacier 3000, freeriders enjoy a sense of liberty – but so too do hikers and day-trippers.
Unspoilt mountain villages are home to living traditions; the vast plateaux of the Jura offer endless cross-country ski trails. From its giant half-pipes and gentle family pistes to bright hot-air balloons high in the sky, the Lake Geneva Region has something to suit every taste.
Free for kids up to nine
On some days, all seems to be well with the world. The children are having a fabulous time in the snow; the grown-ups are relaxing too, enjoying the winter fun – because they also feel looked after. During the whole season, children up to the age of nine ride skilifts and stay in hotels free of charge in Château d’Oex, Rougemont, Les Mosses, Leysin, Les Diablerets and Villars-Gryon.
